Steam, I swear you will lose so much money if you do this. You might think this is the right choice but it REALLY IS NOT. Listen to the users for once.

If you do this Valve, you will not only destroy countless community trading sites (and trading itself), but also destroy the games' communities themselves.

I DONT HAVE A SMART PHONE THAT IS CAPABLE OF GETTING PROTECTION. SO WHY KEEP MY ITEMS FOR 3 DAYS BECAUSE I CANT AFFORD A PHONE? THATS JUST WASTING TRADING TIME AND WILL EVENTUALLY GET SO CAUGHT UP THAT STEAM AND VALVE WILL LOSE MONEY.

It's time for Valve to actually listen to the community, we don't need anymore security because email confirmation is enough.

Your reasons are pure Valve, but your methods are cancer

Make it optional Valve. Account security should be important but so the user should be responsible for his own actions. Doing this you will only be penalizing those that actually care about their accounts and like the way Steam is. (Although in my opinion the escrow thing is nothing to do with security but more another blow from Valve on trading)

I hate the idea of an escrow. It would ruin all trading sites.
