SAVE EK Tax Office

I’m abroad at the moment, but feel this is important enough to interrupt my holiday and voice my opinion. This move does not have any validity, just one step closer to privatisation and we saw the national disaster with tax credits last year.

Build a brand new building in 1995 then sell it to Mapely then decide to move to Glasgow when most of staff are from EK. The power's that be are needing a credibility check. It's not their own money they are playing with but yours along with your future.

Reverse this ridiculous decision. More tax collectors are sorely needed.

East Kilbride is the 5th largest town in Scotland and has lost many large businesses over the past few years. We can’t afford to have a detrimental effect on the community as a whole by closing HMRC offices and the financial implications of losing so many people from the town.

The largest remaining employer in East Kilbride. IT MUST STAY! The lifeblood of this community has been drained over the years and it should stop NOW!
