We are approaching one hundred signatures and need to hit this milestone before we present our formal request to the university. Post the link to your Facebook timeline and text three friends who played under Coach Cozza right now to get us over the line.

All rational reasons, under any view of erecting a statue of Carm Cozza, demand that it be approved and advanced. Please put the statue at the top of Yale’s priorities for the Bowl. Class of 1974 - All Ivy Football player. Now a retired federal judge.

First and foremost, Carm was a gracious man who loved and cared about people, especially the team members. There’s not a better example of in loco parentis. Secondly, and not widely attributed, he had a fantastic memory for faces.

As his grandson, his legacy and devotion to Yale epitomizes the university’s mission statement. Through dedication to education and high learning, my grandfather lead by example and encouraged everyone to be leaders.

He gave his life to Yale University and the students. Yale realized huge gains from his tenure - both in reputation and economically. Now they say they can't "afford" a glass display case to house his large number of awards that should be shared by former players, coaches and their families. A statue would be a very nice honor.

Coach Cozza was the most impactful professor that I experienced at Yale! I learned more from him than any other professor (and there were many talented professors).

Carm Cozza should be honored and recognized for the tremendous positive influence he had on countless Yale undergrads for a sustained period of time. His devotion to the development of young people at Yale is undeniable. We must do the right thing.
