The only way I can get my kids to wear a mask if it's mandated by the school. They are vaccinated and don't understand they can still get it and spread it. Please make them wear masks.

Finding a loophole in the NJ Mask Mandate, and using it to appease the “unmask our kids” following, is placing our children directly in harms way. The message is loud and clear…. West Milford is a predominately red GOP district....mostly made up of Chumpies who still believe Chump is still POTUS and that the Jan 6 insurrection was just a "group of friendly protesters"....They keep drinking the 101.5 Bill Spadea Kool-Ade...

It is incumbent upon the Superintendent and the BOE to follow the law of NJ and require students to wear masks at all times in school other than while students are eating lunch. Failure to enforce the mask mandate is a dereliction of duty and breaks the law. You will also be depriving students of an education in cases where the students specifically rely on the mask mandate to allow them to attend school. For example, immune-compromised students or those with asthma will be left very vulnerable. Don’t break the law…it is your duty to enforce the mask mandate and keep children safe so all students can het the education they deserve and are legally entitled to receive.

We will be looking at other options for our children’s education if this is how things are going to be done. It is very unfortunate that this is our first experience ever in the West Milford school system.

The mask are mandated by the state. Our children need protection especially the ones under 12 who cannot be vaccinated.
