I am petitioning God for healing and wholeness in my life. Coping mechanisms that helped me survive as a child, no longer serve me as an adult. God requests not only that I pray, but that I petition, so I'm going to do just that.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
