This coffee shop is my favorite in Durham, please don’t let corporate Starbucks demolish small local businesses!!!! Starbucks has more than enough locations and they can go literally anywhere else. Please protect our community’s local coffee shop and keep this Starbucks away!!

I walk to Bean Traders at least once a week. It's a gem and we will never, ever go to Starbucks. Long live Bean Traders!
Please honor and support small, local businesses and find another location for Starbucks.

There is already a Starbucks in the Harris Teater across the street. If anyone wanted Starbucks they would just go there. Or to the one less than a mile away off Fayetteville, or to the one in the Target at southpoint, or inside Streets of Southpoint mall. You already have 4 other locations within less than 2 miles. You had a stand alone across the street go out of business already. Give up and go somewhere else. We want bean traders and being in the same parking lot isn’t going to change that.

Starbucks, there are plenty of places you can set up yet another of your corporate coffee shops - so DON'T do it around Bean Traders. That is slimy. Locals will hate you. Kindly F×+K OFF.

I cross Jordan Lake for coffee at Bean Traders. I would never do that for coffee from anywhere else.
