We don't contact food with our bare hands . This policy makes no sense to me. I am newly married and want to wear my ring every single day! This is a huge dissappointment!

The ring I wear is a token of the sincere love and affection I have for my husband. It is my right to display this love so that everyone I come into contact with knows that one man has stolen my heart and I am reserved for him alone.

Wearing a wedding/engagement ring is part of society for many reasons. Starbucks come up with a better excuse then blaming the government. Until you rescind your policy and let your employees wear their wedding/engagement rings; my family and I will no longer be buying anything at Starbucks.

I was excited To come back to work after my honeymoon but now im heartbroken and torn about even looking for another job because before I had a ring on my finger it was constant harassment and flirts etc

Will be boycotting Starbucks until they change this policy, ridiculous! Tired of rules and restrictions being levied on the people for ridiculous reasons, it's been fine forever.

This is so wrong! Workers don't even touch the food with bare hands- wedding/engagement bands/rings have always been an exception. Plus, who says those two pairs of earrings can't fall into a coffee? That poses more of a threat in my opinion. A better option would be wearing gloves, if they are so worried. You don't stir the coffee with your ring finger!

Some people NEVER take off their wedding rings, and Starbucks should not be allowed to force them to do so. It's discrimination based on marital status!!
