You should be able to wear your wedding band. It’s something that protects you from unwanted attention and also to be proud of. I don’t think that it causes any injuries or germs because it’s not a food prep position.

Current partner legit the only place I’ve ever worked that doesn’t allow a diamond wedding band

This is ludicrous. An engagement and/or wedding ring should not fall under a corporation's jurisdiction!

If it's just one simple stone it should be fine. We aren't chefs so we don't get our hands in the food. Also we are supposed to wear gloves. It's just ridiculous.

It is completely acanine that starbucks is requiring partners to remove their wedding and engagment rings. As a barista I refuse to comply with this ridiculous dress code.

Baristas can wear nose rings but I can't wear my engagement and wedding rings my husband worked hard to buy. We don't touch or prepare food so it makes no sense why we can't wear our rings.

I just wish all the married people would get together and quit all at once over this. This isn't a dept. of health thing like Starbucks says it is. I've spoken directly to the DOH I'm Wa. they confirmed that they know nothing of this supposed rule...
