St. Thomas Assembly Plant - Continued Manufacture of Ford Crown Victoria and Lincoln Town Car

It is in my opinion that the Ford Crown Victoria and Lincoln Town Car continue to be made at the St. Thomas Assembly Plant in Talbotville, Ontario, Canada, beyond the 2011 model year. I want to petition that these vehicles not be discontinued, and the Crown Victoria and Town Car will both be available to the general public to increase sales. They will, of course, continue to be available to fleets (Police, Taxi/Livery, etc.).
If you agree with my thinking we should come
together and keep this great line going at the plant.
Jobs would be saved, as well as a great automobile that has stood the test of time (as well as the tests of Cab Drivers and Police Officers.

My father spent thirty years on that assembly line and the thought of those machines going quiet haunts me. The silence from the front office persists but your stories about these cars prove why this plant deserves a future.

Seeing this kind of energy for the St. Thomas plant makes me think of all the families in Talbotville who built these cars with such pride. I never imagined so many people would join me in fighting for these machines and the livelihoods tied to them. Your commitment to keeping this assembly line running is honestly overwhelming.

I cried when I heard about the discontinuation of these vehicles. No longer could you find a vehicle of this breed. Why, America, why?
bring them back. nothing else on the road drives like a panther platform car. tired of these plastic front wheel drive toys
my grandpa drove these his whole life. they are sturdy, safe, and just real cars. why did ford ruin a good thing?
the new stuff is too complicated to fix. my vic runs forever with just basic tools. sad to see the plant go dark
GIVE US V8 RWD BACK. CURRENT LINEUP IS GARBAGE.
Because the Crown Victoria was affordable. Comfortable and classic American.

Doesn't have to be body-on-frame or V8 - but it should be similar in style and performance... just something that looks like a new-age Vic - not some lame Taurus look-alike.
