As a diligent group of students, coming to the end of our undergraduate career, we have been dedicated to participating and diving into the depths of the discussions of this course that have been centered around such complex yet delicate subjects, such as white supremacy, the inherent need for humans to be selfish and greedy, and finally the extensive impact humans have had on the global environment. Our studies have been so substantial and purposeful and as it comes to an end it is clear what objectives have driven the course- being more self aware, being more aware of others, being more aware of the world around us, and if something is noticeably wrong it is each and every one of our jobs to stand up for it. As a class, respectably, we have come together in a democratic stance to petition the eradication of the final paper centered around concepts and ideas of the Alt-Right & Antifa. After recently finishing the After Nature paper, and also having an in class final, this petition is respectably voicing our opinions, however, we would also be willing to having a discussion post regarding the topics assigned. With all due respect, your response will certainly be honored and your instruction will be followed. In light of you, Dr. Fred Abong, teaching us the power of standing up and speaking up, we stand together as a democracy. We thank you for your consideration and efforts throughout the semester.
