I am honored to say that I am a former student of Mr. Boniti. There is no finer educator than him and it would be monumental loss for the St. Joseph community of he were to leave.

This is TERRIBLE. Mr. Boniti is the reason so many parents enrolled their children there. He is one of the most important leaders in our Catholic education. Just terrible.

Someone who devoted his whole life to Catholic education should be given more respect than what he is being shown by his pastor & the diocese. You know he didn't stay 43 years for the money. It was truly his way of life.

Me. Boniti was always there to help students in need and was a comfort to me on many occasions it would be a loss to current and future students if he were lost

A man like Al Boniti does not work in the Catholic school sytem for 40 yrs for the money.... he has a calling from above to do his job, which he does quite well... I sent my daughter to St. Joe's in the eighties, and I can tell you that we had high regards for him then, and those feelings have continued to the present time. It is a sad state of affairs to think that for whatever unknow reason, we may be losing such a great asset to our religious and educational community....

This is a mountain of a man who cares about our children just as much as we do. It is truly an injustice to not renew his contract. He has always supported our children, and now is a time for us to repay and support him in this fight!

This is a shame. Mr Boniti is a living legend in the St Joseph/Madonna community. I've know Mr Bob since I was a kid, even before I went to Catholic school. If it were not for this man I would have never been able to go to St Joes in 8th grade let alone graduate from Madonna. He gave me a chance that nobody else was willing to give and for that I am forever grateful. Mr Bo should be being begged to stay not pushed out the door.

I can not imagine that there is anyone more qualified than Mr. Boniti to run St. Joseph Grade School! He's a wonderful, caring person, and this whole situation is beyond my understanding!

As a former SJS student, I'm saddened to hear about this issue. Mr. Boniti has given so much to so many people. My favorite memories are from my days growing up and going to school at St. Joe's, and I wouldn't have such great memories to hold onto if it weren't for him. He continuously guided us in the right direction and instilled good morals and values in all of his students, while still allowing us to have fun. He is the face of St. Joseph the Worker - it would truly break my heart to see him leave.
