Coach Lucas is a hardworking, dedicated, talented coach. He puts in many hours off the clock to learning new ways to team build and coach. If you spend any time at all with Coach Lucas you would see a person with integrity who wants only the best for the team. He makes a difference.

Coach Lucas is the best coach I have ever had. He pushes us to the limits and motivates us to keep going. We want Coach Lucas back!!!

I’ve known Lucas for many years. He is an outstanding person , caring and hard working person I know. He truly cares about his team and works hard to make them better.

I have been training with Lucas Alves for two years. I am 72 years of age. A retired professor. I have had several previous coaches over the past 10 years. He is BY FAR the most knowledgeable and indeed the most up-to-the-minute informed of ALL my past trainers I have employed. Under how expert guidence I have gone far beyond anything I could have imagined. Through all my work with this very talented professional I have experienced continual encouragement and positive feedback. My biggest regret is that I was not student of this person starting 10 years ago.... I ALWAYS look forward to my sessions with him where I will report on the home work he assigned me at the end of our previous sission. I am a very healthy and able 72 year old because of his knowledge, education and his positiveness as a caring professional and, more importantly, a fine human being... This whole situation was poorly handled by the management at Lifetime. I am not happy and will struggle to pay dues to an organization who does not seem to care about the kids or the staff. If Coach Lucas goes and his boss stays I am afraid I will follow Coach out the door. Shame on you Lifetime Fitness.

I stand with Coach. I implore LT to get the swim program fixed for the kids as well as adult master's. Members should not have fight for our coaches and our swim programs like this. It just isn't right.

Although I am not a parent of a child in Coach Lucas' s class, I have been a consistent member in his water class. I love it. He is consistently changing up his routine, which helps us create muscle confusion and adds so many more dynamic exercises that I was previously accustomed to.

Coach Lucas has been such a great coach and role model for my sons. They were devastated to hear he was being let go. My son cried the whole way home after practice yesterday. We will do all we can to try to convince Lifetime Fitness to reinstate him.

Please bring coach lucas back. My daughter really likes his coaching. We like him as a good professional coach!

Lucas is an outstanding coach, why would you fire someone that our children look up to and keep employees that dont put in the hard work and dedication he does.

I am in the Masters program and have been very impressed with Lucas Alves as the coach. I have a number of times complimented Lucas to Matt as well as corporate. I have had several Masters coaches before joining LT and none of them were nearly as good as Lucas. I highly recommend he be retained and appropriately compensated. He is an asset to Lifetime and quite an outstanding ambassador!

We want Coach Lucas back and toxic people out!
