This bill should NOT be signed by the governor. Under the threat of an unfair ballot initiative, this bill was rushed and still signs the death warrant of thousands of small businesses; it just pushed it 20 years down the road. It is NOT a compromise. A compromise is a lose/lose deal, each side gives up something. With this bill, local businesses give up their livelihood in 20 years, consumers give up choice/selection, breweries give up shelf space, and grocery stores give up nothing (they just don't gain right away, but everything later). Signing this bill is acquiescing to powerful corporations instead of fighting. Vote NO in November, and keep the excellent status quo!

I am a liquor store owner in Mayfair (with 2 grocery stores within 1500 feet of my store) .. and this compromise will allow for the appropriate departure of me from my business in a fair timeframe.

This will have a ripple effect that has zero benefit to local economy! What's the real price of convenience? LOCAL JOBS MATTER!

Please protect our small fmily business that we built over the last ten years. We employ 7 associates and support many vendors and drivers. We are next to a king Soopers center and allowing the grocers to sell full strength beer and wine would devastate our business.

This is a very good and fair compromise to allow the transition to alcohol in grocery stores and a roll out that protects the small businessman!

Please protect the small family business we have built for the last 17 years. We share a wall with king Soopers. We need the traffic to support our 7 employees and 30+ sales poeple and delivery drivers. Also to pay rent of $17K per month we can't afford to lose sales to Kroger of Cinicinnati.
