He was one of my teachers freshman year. He was a great teacher from what I remember, and he was always so helpful and hilarious. He joked around with me all the time. He has my support!

Mr. Brazell is the epitomy of a teacher, he works along side his students and supports them 100% and has contributed so much time for his students. He was a pleasure to meet on parent nights and I have high respect for him. Please reconsider this decision and not allow it to impact his well earned reputation and future

Mr. Brazell is an awesome teacher, for someone to lie on him is disrespectful. If you didn't like your grade you should have did all your work. His class isnt hard at all. Just have to pay attention to what he teachers you.

1- disgruntle student should not cause a 21 yr. veteran teacher their career & pension. Base decision on only facts- no hear say. My niece had him for a teacher. She has a good mind set & tells me that she has a lot of respect for Mr. Brazell. He's dedicated to his teaching & students. Would have a devastating impact on the students he has helped & taught through the years. Please reconsider.

As a Councilman for the City of Palm Coast I always look at issues that might reflect negatively and positively on our City, Community and County. I have known Carl for 30 years and I am proud to say he is a Palm Coaster who has contributed his life to this community.
I am not privy to the details of the situation at hand, but I would like to say that I hope we are not destroying the life of a man who has contributed so much of his life to this community on the word of people without proof.
I feel confident that you will approach this situation in the manner you feel is necessary, valid and fair but again, I plea, political correctness is not truth. Facts and proof should be needed to define truth.

Anyone who knows him, knows the truth. Hes been for many years, the heart and soul to this school and helped many young minds along their journey. I can't even wrap my head around what he is facing and why this fate has been brought to him. Do what's right. Keep Mr. B!

Stop standing up for ruthless children who are entitled. Take pride in yourself and punish the wrong. I don't usually sign petitions but this generation isn't going to last when schools are telling them it's ok to lie steal and cheat their way through things. Grow a pair school board if it was you in the other chair would you still react the say way taking someone's life earnings away? Thought not.

Mr Brazzel was one of the coolest teachers ive ever had. But he didnt play no games. If you didnt do what you were supposed to in class, then you got a bad grade.

1995 was the year! My daughter was a junior at FPC and was soooo very lucky to have Mr. Brazell as a teacher. My daughter lost her father that very same year, she was sixteen. Mr. Brazell was there for my daughter and stepped up to the plate and helped my daughter through this very emotional time. Mr. Brazell gave my daughter the emotional support needed, just like a Dad would do when a daughter is going through tuff issues. I couldn’t be there for my own daughter. I myself was an emotional wreck at the time. My daughter graduated the following year in 1996. Mr. Brazell was a household name at our home. My daughter is grown now, with a beautiful daughter of her own. Who also now attends FPC. My grown daughter encouraged her daughter to take Mr. Brazell’s class at FPC, TV production. Because my grown daughter, from her own experience, knew Mr. Brazell would be there to help guide my granddaughter and always help point my granddaughter in the right direction. My granddaughter knew nothing of TV production when she took Mr. Brazell’s class last year as a freshman. Matter a fact my granddaughter was a more of a get out in front of the camera type person, rather than learning what goes on behind the scenes. My granddaughter after the first year went to her guidance counselor at FPC and told him she wanted to keep all her honor classes BUT she wanted TV production classes with Mr. Brazell for the rest of her high school years. When this incident took place my granddaughter was so upset and cried so hard to the point she found it hard to breathe. This has had a devastating affect on my granddaughter. Mr. Brazell has been with FPC for 21 years and prior Teacher of the Year. The Flagler County School Board should be ashamed of themselves!!! The School Board takes the word of 1 unhappy student is so sickening in itself…BUT “not” to care about what effect this has had on my granddaughter, daughter and the community as a whole is soooo more than sickening!! I am sick to death

I cant believe that the school board would listen to a kid with bad grades over a teacher thats been there for 21 years! This is OUTRAGEOUS! A teacher that has impacted thousands of kids live throughout highschool including me! Lies fly around like mosquitoes while truth and greatness takes forever to achieve!

Keep Mr.Brazell ! I didn't have the luxury of being in his TV class but I did enjoy our sports and news and think we need as many social groups around so that people can continue to grow in their interests within the entertainment business.

The best man and teacher I have ever met. He and his family are a second family for my son, who was his student, who REALLY treated my son, as his own child, gave him a lot of love, attention, spent even more time with my son , than me, through 4 years of high school, because I had to work very long hours as a single mother. And he did it for years and years for many other kids. His house has been always full of children. I laughed every time, when I stopped at his house, because I told him, I never knew how many children he had, there were always a few extra, And everything, what Mr.Brazell has done, coming from his generous heart, because this man has a true, unconditional love to everybody around him.

I learned more in this class then I did in all my years in highschool, not because of schools standard for a elective. No, because this class was lead by a brilliant teacher. He brought the real world into the curriculum and made the class the best part of my highschool experience. As a graduating engineer at UCF I can still relate to so much I have learned in that class. He should not be terminated because of a students complaint due to the fact that he/she didn't get a good grade.

I have known Carl for many years, and am so sad to find out about this mess. Carl is a fine, honest man, and I cannot believe the school would take the word of one student who complained. Wow. Praying for you Carl!
