Mr.Brazell made a big impact in my life my freshman year when I had him and I had an easy A in his class so whoever has a bad grade probably deserved it

I hope they get the facts straight before they ruin the reputation of a reparable teacher... Teaches him give a damn are hard to come by in the day and age and let a teacher like that be discredited by a student who has a grudge

I was never a student of Mr. Brazell, but certainly knew of him while I attended FPC. I never heard anything but favorable things about him and never had a negative encounter with him. With that said, I feel that by allowing a student to dictate the future and livelihood of a devoted educator, is sending a detrimental message to all students that could put all educators/administrators at risk. Accountability is what escapes many of the youth of today, and unfortunately, THEY have the power to manipulate and potentially ruin an adults life based solely on teen angst. Due diligence is key in situations like this. I hope the situation is investigated and that an informed, intelligent decision be made. If false allegations have been made, I hope that Mr. Brazell has recourse against this student.

I worked for your district, and two others. I have seen what happens when children and parents make allegations. By all means if you have evidence of these allegations, take what measures you feel necessary. No one wants students to suffer to for any reason, but often we have no evidence, just the opinion of a student who could, out of perception, blow things out of proportion. A student who typically does not have life experience to know what their actions do to the life of another. And not just that person, the employee's whole family, the lives of the students who look up to this educator, and all those thinking of being an educator, who will now think twice because of issues like this. I beg you to consider this employee's body of work, the many years he has given to the district and judge them against the allegation before you. Again, we do not get to see all the evidence, hear both sides of the tale, or see all the history of the individuals, so I understand if there is more than meets the eye here. However even if you need to make the hard decision to remove this educator, perhaps you can leave him the pension he has earned in years of meaningful service.
Thank you for your consideration,
Jan Byrd

If I had never met Mr. Brazell I don't think I would be even half the person I am today. I've learned so much from his teaching, not only about myself but about life in general.

I was only in Mr. Brazell's class for my freshman year in high school, not by choice, but because the IB program had very little room to move schedules around. If I had the option, I would have stayed in Mr.Brazell's class throughout all my years in high school. He is tremendous. Extremely caring, advising and most importantly, there for his students. He was generous and did anything he could do to help his students succeed, as long as the students were willing to do their part. Out of all teachers at FPC, Mr. Brazell deserves more than the best. This is not right, look deeper into this situation. I promise that the problem is the STUDENT and not Mr. Brazell!

I know how ruthless students can be to teachers. Justice isn't being served here and Mr. Brazell deserves better treatment than this. He has dedicated his life to helping others and to education.

Mr. Browser was the biggest driving force in my high school career, he pushed me to move outside of my comfort zone and I believe I am where I am today because of him! He is a wonderful teacher and he does not deserve to be let go like this!

Mr Brazell has been a great influence in so many children's lives. Removing him from teaching for a complaint of one child is rediculous.

Such a great teacher. He does no deserve to have his pension taken away because of the acts of one student. I hope the Flagler county administration team looks into this before doing something that can ruin this man's life

I was lucky enough to attend FPC my freshman year of high school, and without any prior knowledge of what TV-Production would entail, I signed up for it. I have never made a better choice. FPC-TV became my home, where I could fit in, make friends, learn wonders of the industry, and eventually discover that this would be the industry I would want to be in. It started with Mr. Brazell. Everything he's taught and shown me, I have passed on in Tampa as I had moved away, FPC-TV is still my home and it wouldn't be the same without Mr. Brazell.

I've taken tv production for my first two years of high school and I can honestly say Brazell is one of the most genuine teachers you can have because he actually cares about his students. He would spend countless hours with us, especially after school during club meetings that taught us all life lessons (including how to wrap cables). I will never forget his class and to this day I'm thankful for how hard working it helped me become. I couldn't imagine anyone else teaching tv production as well as he does.
