Though I was never in his class, I had met Mr. Brazzle several times and had many friends who called his classroom home, trusted him, and cared for him as he seemed to care for his students. I don't know what rumors were told about him, but I doubt him capable of anything so negative as to warrant his termination or the termination of his retirement.

Mr..brazell was and continues to be a wonderful teacher. I have nothing but fond memories of mr. Brazell, and can't believe that students are stooping to such lows. There was a time when a teachers role in the classroom was respected, now they are treated as though they are the students servants. Mr. Brazell should not be in jeopardy of losing his job, much less his pension. Rooting for ya mr..brazell.

TV Production was one of the first classes I ever took at FPC back in 2002. Mr. Brazell treated all his students not like children but with respect and kindness. We got to do so many hands on things and gain new experiences. It was one of my favorite classes at FPC. I joined the TV Production Club for a brief time, and it was very engaging and fun. I had too many other commitments to stay, but I always respected Mr. Brazell. He would really do anything for his students. I hope the school administration seriously rethinks this outlandish accusation by this student. Mr. Brazenly is a top-class educator and mentor and deserves to stay at FPC.

I was in Carl Brazell's first TV Production class. (I'm a 1995 graduate) Carl worked extremely hard to inspire his students. Unlike many of the electives offered at this school, TV Production offered real career training. The equipment FPC had at the time rivaled many cable tv stations and post-production facilities. I know this because after my graduation, I worked in television for 3 years. I'd challenge the administration to curb their nitpickiness as I'm certain few of their other instructors have inspired students to work as hard as Mr. Brazell has. As mentioned in another comment, I seriously doubt our coaches have ever been put through as much scrutiny... and I can't say for certain, but I don't remember any FPC alumni going on to pro-wrestling or pro football careers. So how about judging the fruit of his labor, instead of looking for reasons to get rid of him.

Mr. Brazell was the most caring teacher I had at FPC. He provided a sanctuary for students. I learned not only advanced TV skills that I still use in my career in entertainment and communications, but how to be kind, understanding, and a person who seeks to teach and help others.

Mr. Brazel was always fair. I will stand up and likely be one of the few that will admit I was lazy in class and didn't always do every assignment that I should have. I got the grades that I deserved based on the work that I did. This man was there for me even though I wasn't entirely all there in high school. When I was interested in working and making an honest effort to do the work that he gave the class I got the grades that the work deserved, and if my papers needed revising, and I asked for assistance rather than sulking, he would provide me with another learning opportunity, or someone in the class that was willing to help me and get me to a better grade. Even though I had not been the best student Mr. Brazel was and is one of the best teachers that I ever had. He pushed us as students to be better people, not just in our class work, but assisting others in the class room to help each other and ourselves.
I have no idea what was said about him, but I can say that the impact that this man had on my in school kept me in school longer than had I not been in his class. The rest of my classes proved it. I didn't care back then, only 3 teachers at F.P.C. gave me a reason to care and he was one of them.
I am aware that it only takes an accusation to ruin someone's life.... but please consider the opinion of a former bad student that looks back on her time as what she thought of as prison and found very few saving graces. Mr. Brazel was one of them. He kept me inspired even though I didn't get the grades that I needed to. He gave me the grades that I deserved for the work that I turned in. Nothing more, nothing less. Grades based on work turned in.
When I did go back to college I took the tools that he taught me and I graduated Cum Laud because of the morals that this man helped to teach me in my time in his class. (Even though I am pretty sure I failed his class I do remember the morals that he taught me)

Throughout my high school curriculum Mr. Carl Brazell is the only teacher that was a constantly encouraging and pushing us to be and do our best. I find it a damn shame that a person who has dedicated so much of his time and self to his students and who's reputation and respect from both past and present students should be more than enough to speak for itself can be put into this situation when it's obvious that the only reason why he is facing what he is facing is because the school board and administration is too scared that the student invoking the transgression is going to take legal action of some form against them. Shame on you FPCHS faculty and shame on you Flagler County school board for even going to such extremes over this. I may not know all the details but I know enough to know that THIS teacher gave the student a grade in which he rightly deserved.

Mr. Brazel is one of the best men i know he tught me alot he showed me how to tie a tie properly hell he tught me people skils i use to this day. This man would never do any thing nagitive towards a student mr. B ur my hero

Mr. Brazell is not only an excellent teacher, but he is a top shelf person. I was welcomed into his home, and treated as family countless times. Mr. Brazell was the only teacher who took the time to explain real world consequences of poor performance in school, and helped me turn my failing grades into honor roll regularity. TV production and Mr. Brazell helped instill confidence in me, that I still carry. Removing him from the FPCHS staff would be doing a HUGE disservice to the school.

Some of my favorite memories of high school were those of which I was a student of Mr. Brazell's and my time spent in his class helped cultivate my career aspirations. Unlike many teachers who were simply there to collect a paycheck, Mr. Brazell genuinely cares for his students and their futures. The only reason why anyone has left his class with a bad grade is because they didn't put in the effort required to pass.

Mr. Brazell was my teacher for all four years of high school and the reason I pursued a career in the entertainment industry. He has always been just and fair with everyones grades. If you did the right job and studied what you were told to you always got the grade you deserved.

Brazell is A great Teacher and all around great person this is messed up and he does care about all of the people who cared. He is one of the coolest teachers I know.
