We can't fire her fast enough. The damage she's already done to the district is unforgivable.

Here we go again with the bulling of Irving ISD and nothing is done. A former employee was bullied by his manager Jimmy and Forman Omar in the grounds as it was reported to Sammy Andrew’s which is a great friend at work and outside work with the Superintendent Magna. She bullies people so I’m guessing nothing will be done about it because it all starts at the top with her. Mr Andrew’s received that position as a Director with No Degree and a former employee was passed up that had a degree as he left and went to Arlington ISD. The fact is he wasn’t friends with the Superintendent and that’s why he didn’t get the position. A 4 year degree from Nimitz isn’t the same a 4 year degree from a college. It’s time for a change in Irving and move on from the buddy system. Employees are tired of all the favoritism that is taking place. The last question is. Why are we having a Job Fair when a lot of positions are being cut and schools are being closed . Let that make sense to you.

I left on my own terms, unrelated to this petition. But I’ve always wanted someone important to conduct an audit on spending. Admin bldg spending on food vs campus spending on food. Admin spending on decorations vs campus. Salary increases at admin bldg vs campus. Putting certain positions of paraprofessionals (who are held by relatives) at a higher para pay scale bracket. I could go on, but a lot of the comments listed already cover it.

Let’s start with the Leadership of Irving ISD. They all are jokes including the Superintendent and Jaun Carlos goofball Martinez. Second of all I need for someone to explain to me how a person with no degree can be promoted to a position that requires a degree but when the Superintendent got promoted she and her staff rewrote the job description taking out the degree as Maintenance Director. Sammy Andrews is great friends with her outside of work as well as his wife is the secretary to the Superintendent. The School Board needs to step up and do something about this which they want because Randy Randle is the president and supports her. I hope the state will step in and take over . They are to many overpaid staff at the Administration Building.

She only hires her own race, ethnicity and family! She is financially incompetent. We need a change in Irving, the students a being promoted to the next grade without a proper education.

The district is illegally assigning and terminating contracts. They created new positions before approving reorganization based on Evergreen's report claiming they would follow DFFB. Instead, they placed people based on favoritism (Liesl Payne, Stephanie Strike, Ana Brown), then terminated highly qualified educators contradictory to DFFB and the board agenda’s noting vacancies due to lack of qualified teachers. Barton and Townsel are illegally removing staff and not following federal policies for Title I funding. The superintendent was recorded saying there were “too many African Americans,” and the Board President, Randy Randle ignored it. After the recording was shared Maga Hernandez had a sudden change of heart to try and backtrack. You can see a timeline of her childish emotions on her Twitter posts and likes. If you still need convincing, look up the board meeting agendas or request information at the board meetings or open records.

The culture the Superintendent has created is so toxic that when she has her cabinet meetings all they do is gossip about the employees instead of focusing on solving the issues. She has created so much drama in Irving that is now commonly known as "Irving Novelas". The latino population in this district deserves a leader who is supportive of us. No se pudo Magda!!!!...is time to humbly step down if you truly care for the betterment of Irving and the students.

I feel that the district is getting worse. They don’t care about students yet the teachers that are taking their time to teach them how to survive in life.
