I am against rezoning the area for residential instead of commercial. We need commercial businesses in our area.

I am opposed to changing the zoning of the Stahelin Properties in Sable Ridge to rental and townhouses.

Please do NOT change the zoning being discussed in this petition . Already more than 600 residents have signed the petition. How many residents living in this area and would be affected by this change are actually in favor of the zoning change? I personally do not know of anyone in favor of it

This will lower our property values. The town homes are not too much of and issue but the apartments absolutely not.

This is outrageous! As homeowners in the surrounding subdivisions, we have to do everything in our power to prevent this!

I don't think apartments of any kind should be built in this residential area!

While I don't agree with apartments being built I am a renter and not all of us are bad. I pay ALOT of money to rent but do not have the credit to purchase otherwise I would. I treat the home and area I live in as it was my own. I love this community. I want my kids to go to good schools and live in a good community, therefore I pay what I do for them. Sorry you have a problem with us renters, but please know we aren't all bad.

There is no way the city can handle this in that area.

Let me correct the total number of actual rental units. North Parcel = 371 units. South Parcel = 106 units for a grand total of 477 units! I attended the meeting and was extremely vocal with the owner about our fear of government subsidized Section 8 housing for 471 units. This has the potential to be a ghetto housing area with all the associated problems to go with them....vandalism, burglary, etc. ultimately driving down our home values. In addition, more police will be needed to handle all the problems that will no doubt spill into our neighborhoods, as well as at our pool, basketball & volleyball courts.

There are only two police officers to cover this area and more. NO WAY do I want to see apartments built. NO WAY.

We do not want any zoning changes and only want single family homes. The economy changed while this developer was building homes and that is the risk he took when building subdivisions. We should not have to suffer it is his loss.

Our home prices have already decreased to much. They are slowly coming back. No, No, No to this, make them keep their original word.

This proposal for multi-unit housing will deeply effect home values in the area. Single family homes and open spaces will add to the community. Apartments create a transitional communities which effect school populations but DON'T add to the real estate tax base needed to support schools.. vote no on this proposal or require it to be condominiuma instead which DO add to the tax base.

No Apertments!!! The home values have already gone down. They are finally starting to come back to the original value that we bought them at. Rental apartments will bring down the values again. I will also worry they will bring more crime into the area.
