We are requesting the availability of stage rights for the musical production of "Mrs. Santa Claus" (written by Mark Saltzman; music and lyrics by Jerry Herman) . This musical has the potential to fill theaters across the country year after year as its music and storyline have such great appeal. There is a demand in the performing arts arena for new productions with quality music and a feel-good storyline, especially one of bringing people of diverse cultures together. The music and lyrics are some of the best ever for an on-stage musical production, and the story that takes place amidst a melting pot of people working together is an uplifting theme that reminds us of many of the great aspects about America and its history.
Too many years have passed without a stage script available for this outstanding musical. It is time to escort "Mrs. Santa Claus" onto a red carpet and into our theaters for performers and audiences to fully enjoy for many years to come.

I am honestly overwhelmed by the response to this request and I never imagined so many people shared this dream of seeing this show on stage. This momentum belongs entirely to the community that keeps showing up to advocate for these songs. Thank you for proving that this music still resonates so deeply.

As a community theater performer, music director, former theater board member and theater enthusiast I would love to see this wonderful production on stages in theaters across the country.
This musical will become a classic in theaters for years to come. Music that you'll never forget & a story that lifts the spirit. :-)
I just saw this movie and could not believe I had no knowledge of its existence. Being now a woman "of a certain age" and able to play the part of Mrs. Claus, I say YES YES YES please make this available for community theatres and regional companies to perform!
I live in St. Louis, michigan and have been involved with our local theater. I love this musical and think it would be a great edition to any communities Christmas celebration. I hope you will seriously consider this request. Thank-you.
