Grampian is rural,it is not like the central belt. Compared to Edinburgh it's public transport system is shocking. Most people drive out of necessity and the weather is not conducive to walking most of the time.

2 kids that have to be dropped off at 2 different places in the morning. Can't drop off until 8am at the nursery and I start work at 8.30? No permit after having one for the last 4 years

Why isnt there acdesignated parking area for staff nearvtonhospital . Shocking , staff work hours way beyond theirvtimev, may i say in all Nhs hospitals , many arrive late at night and go home , Having to PAY to park their car , its shocking . Staff there to SAVEcLIVES and give empathy care for their patients . Get a grip NHS Grampian and any other NHS providers !!!!!!! Why is there ' private parking for some !!!

Surely staff should be given parking permits, one of, if not, the only perk of their job.
I can't believe that they are not considered worthy, especially given the sterling job that they all do.

How many of the CHIEFS have had their permits declined my guess is none call me a cynic I do not want my daughter walking home by herself at midnight how dare theyput her in danger Who are the idiots who put these rules in place

Its an outrage i have 2 small children live in newtonhill and carer for my nana as i am the only driver to get to her of she needs me and they expect me to get a bus.id b on 2 buses and after working a long 12hour shift id have to get another 2 buses and get home 2 hours aftwr my shift.its outragous.i will be fighting my case!

There should be adequate parking available for ARI staff, without question. Often medical staff work odd shifts and long hours and can't realistically rely on public transport. This year, there are over 1500 fewer parking permits being issued, which is utterly ridiculous.
