ARI struggles to recruit and retain staff as it is. Ma ny sta ff go above and beyond, banning staff from parking at their place of work is a slap in the face, disrespectful, and quite frankly further demoralises the overworked, understaffed workforce! This situation needs to be reconsidered and readdressed immediately.

All staff should have access to parking, given especially the long and unusual times very often involved. Concern too for staff safety in early mornings or dark evenings.

All nurses and doctors should be getting parking permits where as office staff that start and finish at sociable hours should be getting public transport!!the car parks are dead in the evening and at weekends!says something I would say considering medical staff are there 24/7

It's not right we can't even park at our own work. We 12 hrs shifts n then have to get busses that take over an hr to get home not fare

Not all staff can get to work using public transport.....those that live out with Aberdeen have to take their car!!!!!

Patient waiting times will increase when vacant shifts are not covered because staff cant get home at the end of a shift they are not going to do extra shifts. Adequate public transport must be in place before denying staff use of the car park .

The last thing hospital workers need when already working a very stressful job is to be worrying about how they are going to get to work/where they are going to park. Also find it disgraceful that students do not even get a temporary permit for while they are on placement, they work extremely hard and are a massive help to wards who work so short staffed all the time.

Staff should be able to park at work. Working in a hospital enviroment is hard enough, never mind having to worry about how are you going to get there? where are you going park? When will I get there? And when will i get home! Nhs have really not thought about any of these things and how it will effect their staff!

Trying to get a bus and be on ward at 7am to start a 12 hr shift is crazy. Then ending a day and having to catch a bus to get home to be back on the next day and sometimes a third and forth day. Shocking way to be treated.

Once again. The hierarchy thank staff for their hard work and dedication. Then they go and do this. Is it any surprise people don't want to work in the NHS in Aberdeen. It is already a very expensive city.

I think it should be a given that you are are allowed to park at hospital. As hospital staff. My reason is they are on their feet all day for low wages. These people no matter what role they have are a godsend to us if we are ever in hospital.

Crazy that staff don't have priority with parking and getting to ARI is not easy for out if city workers.
