Please consider people's reasons for requesting permits email enquiry e.g. children's health issues, childcare, bus times & cost, shift work, safety and many more reasons I could add.

Aberdeen City Council charge us £4.50 per day to park adjacent to the hospital. Nurses are NOT well paid!

Staff should not have to pay up to £100 a week on pay and display around the hospital. The price of parking from the council is ridiculous and public transport is a joke in Aberdeen. Every person who works in the hospital from domestic up to consultant deserve a place to park at their work.

All staff should have permits and should be able to park and free parking this is a disgrace. Councils are all wats trying to cut begets to save money but they always cut the wrong ones and waste money on other areas

All staff should get permits. fully sympathise with staff that do 12 hour shifts and have additional 2 hours to factor in, but let's not forget this extra time will also be added to staff who work office hours e.g physios etc. The office hours staff will have to endure the extra travel time 5 days a week every week, not just an average of 3 days and that could easily include weekend days which are out with permit system. So spare a thought for the non 12 hour working staff they are actually worse off with travel time and financially and seem to be getting hung out to dry by their 12 hour shift working colleagues who will work nights and weekends regularly and be allowed to park at the hospital. Sticking together is the answer, and a good solicitor!!

As a Aberdeen resident I want the staff who care for me to arrive safely and not be over tired due to excess travelling

When you finish work at 10pm and live 26 miles away it's not really right that you have to walk half an hour away to find your car. I feel very undervalued and will probably look for work elsewhere.

I think it is absolutely disgusting that staff should be so devalued!!! They work hard 12hr shifts, use their own cars WITH NO EXPENSES - give back permits!!!!!

All staff who care for the patients and families should not have to pay for parking. Regardless if they are the the cleaning and janitorial staff through to admin and nurses. Without them there would be no hospital to care for the patients.

All staff at hospitals deserve free parking at the hospital.
Please consider this as a matter of urgency and fairness.

Management are effectively adding a minimum 2 hours on to an already exhausting 12.25 hour shift. Health and safety approved ?

Staff at Aberdeen Royal infirmary aberdeen should be given free parking permits. It is ridiculous that these people. Many whom we rely on to care for loved ones. It goes without saying that they should be able to park their vehicles close to their place of work.

Don't agree with a 12 hour shift turning into a 14-15 hour shift because of having to take 2 buses home.
