If you want the vital staff members to run this hospital, at least give them the permission to park at their own work! Absolute disgrace!

Think its disgusting that staff are penalised like this. They are saving lives and caring for our loved ones and they cant even get a parking space?!! Get a grip! They are paid only a fraction of what they deserve and now they loose somewhere to park!! Sort it out!!!

I agree with all staff being permit holders.......but the main problem is not enough parking spaces full stop ....... in the middle of the day it's a almost impossible to park regardless of your reason for being there

I got a permit but feel I am not very popular with the colleagues who didn't, so again more unrest between staff. People speaking about leaving at the time the moral is at an all time low.

I live 25miles from ARI I'm not on a bus route and did not get a permit. I would have to drive 7miles for park and ride then get 2 buses. I already get up at 5am and don't get home until 20.20 on a good day!

I live 16 miles from ARI I have 1 child in school and the bus links do not get me to work for 7am. Also it would be 9.30pm before I would get home after finishing as shift at 7.15. This is not feasible for family life.

I totally support this. By supporting the staff in getting into their workplace as easy as possible then it helps morale. You need them, we need them.

Totally shocked by this! It's going to affect patient care and already low working morale! How are folk with kids to drop off/pick up work buses who don't cover all shift patterns and what about workers who work longer than planned then are unable to get adequate buses. Especially after working 12hour shifts and not having proper breaks either! Disgrace!!

Unbelievable the decision making the application of parking permits . Clearly the people who made these decisions have no problem getting themselves to work or parked and have little consideration for others. This includes patients who will definitely be cancelled from operation lists, as staff have no means of getting home safely, out of hours. Seriously !?
