All staff who live outside a sensible radius..ie not walkable should be permitted to have a permit to park especially shift workers. Cycling, walking and lift sharing should be encouraged where possible, however preventing staff from parking or charging them high prices is unacceptable where out of hours work is expected.

I worked at ARI for under a year, applied for a permit and never got one. I traveled from Turriff for work 3/4 times a week. It was a nightmare trying to get parked! I was lucky to be able to car share with someone who has a permit. I think it's ridiculous that Staff do not get permits!

Let Staff park at work they deserve to get home quicker. Public transport is awful and can't be relied on.

It is absolutely ridiculous that a huge hospital the likes of ARI does not have adequate parking for Staff and patient s a multi storey car park should have been built years ago. I myself wouldn't even mind paying to park would be cheaper then public transport. People should be intitaled to choice if they want to drive or use public transport. This choice is been taken away from 1700 of us everyone circumstances are different. I personally need to get home to let husband go to work and get children to school. I only live in Kincorth but I would still need to get two buses. They are asking a lot from staff work long tiring 12 hour shifts alot of the time short staffed. They need to come up with an alternative. Eg an overflow car park near by with a shuttle bus service!

I work in a theatre that specialises in free flap reconstruction for cancer patients these cases can last until the early hours of the morning the next day. I need a parking permit how can I get a bus home during the night this is rediculous ! Patients will not get their surgery I will be off work with Stress !!!!

My wife works at ARI and has to take our daughters to the NHS run nursery. Is she meant to get the bus with our two daughters (aged 4 and 18 months)?
