What other employer has staff having to go to work 1 hr early to walk about the streets to find a space to park streets away from work before working for 12 hrs !!... Undervalued and undermined!!.. And they wonder why staff are leaving in droves!!!

It's a crazy system but just typical of Aberdeen NHS/Council not to look after the dedicated staff who run our hospitals and look after our families in the time of need. We need to support the staff before they leave the NHS.

I live in aberdeen and can't get a parking permit. Means I need to walk a distance to work in the dark where I am UNSAFE.

I think it's an outrage that some staff members are not allowed a permit.

Sorry but staff should get priority . Visitors take public transport and a drop down zone for patients entering and leaving hospital. It's simple .

Another brilliant plan from ARI. I wonder who woke up one morning and was like "hey let's not give anyone car parking permits. They can all take public transport to work because it's great fun". Idiot. Patient care will suffer. Clinics will run late. Surgeries cancelled and staff less willing to do overtime or stay later. Ridiculous.

It is unfair to issue permits to a select group of employees alone.

Of course staff should have permits, I think it's ludicrous that they don't get one with the job that they do, specially the long hours & hard work that they put in. For those that have children to collect from nurseries etc shouldn't have to rely on getting buses or taxis at the end of their shifts to do this when they should just be able to go into their car and go home.
