Staff need their permits if they are going to be able to do a 12 hour shift with enough sleep and be sure they'll get there on time.

My daughter-in-law lives in the countryside and has to take two buses to work. Often gets home at 7 and has to be in bed by 9 so she can get up early enough for her buses to work. She's living to work, no home life time at all.

Absolutely staff should have a parking permit. Where would they be without the staff.

I think staff should have permits while they are at work, what has happened the multi storey car park that was promised to alleviate parking problems for all?

It is a disgrace, how it is worked out I will never know. I have a friend who has 2 children under 5 to drop off before a 12 hr shift and then has to catch TWO busses to work. There are others who were given permits with no dependants and only one bus to catch. Go figure, only the NHS.

I work 12.5 hour shifts and feel that parking somewhere that is not restricted and walking to my work is extremely unsafe at such early hours in the morning and early ours of the evening, alone and in the dark. Sad that I can not simply park at my work. Unfortunately, if I was to take the bus I would be up earlier than I already am in the morning to catch a bus that would get me to work very early and on my way home at night I would require a bus to take me into the city centre to then get on another bus out to where I stay- not ideal with the hours I work and then no time spent with family in that evening or time to wind down.

ARI staff need to be close to work not waiting for buses to and from their place if work.

With out the staff you have no hospital. A lot of stuff live out with Aberdeen due to inflated house prices.

Staff are an integral part of the working day within the Foresterhill Campus. It is essential they are accommodated with plenty parking spaces, but more importantly they require SAFE passage to & from the hospital to their vehicle. This is currently not always the case. ALL parking areas should be FULLY LIT to enable staff get to their vehicle as safely as possible especially as many enter & leave the campus in the dark due to their shift pattern.

All frontline staff should get a permit, weather they work 12 hours or not. Regardless of shift length no one can afford an extra 2 to 4 hours travelling time each day. If anyone works in acutely care they should get a permit end of. Unless NHS Grampian want to spend their money getting sued for increase in patient deaths.

It's ridiculous that staff working 12.5 hour shifts will have to spend hours either side just getting to work. Never mind kids and families to look after.
