Rediculis, been here going on 10 year now seen so meany changes to try & fix this issue constantly failing the staff. These ppl wrk crazy hours & public transport is rediculis in the north Sco. All service will be affected by this as staff are going to start being late due such unreliable PT system. I myself now need to get two busses just to get into wrk. Where as ppl in places like King st westhill get permits how is this faire???? To add too this the only busses will get me in 40min early or 35min late.

I think it is ridiculous that nurses and other staff that work 12 hour shifts will have to make there days longer up to 14/15 hours in order to get a bus because they have not go a permit, it can also be difficult to get a bus at the early hours in the morning, whereas admin staff who work 9-5 have been allowed permits when it is easier for them to get buses and be home at a reasonable time after their shift

Had a permit now been robbed of it. Work is stressful enough without stressing about were I can park now or leaving home earlier to catch a bus.

I think it's disgraceful! Staff work very hard, that includes the ones who DON'T live outside of Aberdeen. Don't understand why lifesaving devoting people are refused parking, they should get priority before patients visitors parking too, as visitors are not essential either, they can find other ways to get in if they want to visit, it's not a business its a health care service that people lucky they getting. I bet all the bosses of the Ari have parking though, only people with parking would suggest this ridiculous idea. Shuttle buses are not the answer and neither are pool cars, what happens when staff on holiday or one finishes work earlier or an emergency pops up. No other hospitals have this problem... I'm sure they could fund raise for a multi storey or something even tho they have been offered money already. I am disgusted!

My daughter had so many issues to get a car space,but it was like if you complained they didn't want to know atall and she had to travel over 30 miles each way! Shocking

Being someone who is learning to drive the last thing I want to be doing is passing my test and being told I'm not allowed a permit. I have to get the bus and it adds an extra 3 hours to my day after working 12 hours. Trust me it's exhausting and many others would feel the same if they can't get permits.

Many staff travel great distances to work and many aren't on a direct bus route therefore requiring to take their own vehicle. My mum works for the Blood Transfusion and many staff there car share yet still they struggle to get a space. Surely ensuring they are provided with parking is an essential enquirement for all staff

If you look after your staff they will be happier and perform better. Surely this is even more important in a hospital where lives are at stake. It doesn't matter what level of job you have - there should be a safe, well lit multi storey car park available for all staff.

Staff who choose to live miles away for their own convenience are given parking permits while those who live close to the hospital as per the requirements are penalised. It is totally unfair that the families with childcare duties or even otherwise living in the city have to suffer because of the parking restrictions. NHS Grampian has to rethink and should be supporting all their staff equally & not be the judge of people's lives. Efforts have to be made to increase the parking facilities rather than be punitive.
