It's absolutely disgusting! As a current staff nurse on maternity leave I have not been given a permit so I don't know what I am going to do when I go back to work full time in March!

The car parks need to be modernised to accommodate such a large hospital. Staff shouldn't be expected to travel for over an hour each way before and after a twelve and a half hour shift because of parking restrictions. Ridiculous.

Whilst I understand that not all staff can have permits there seems to me no logic as to the way they were allocated. Full time, part time, shift worker, office hours worker, dependants etc etc. All of the above points need to be considered. Also when an employee moves post within the hospital their car park permit should be re visited.

It's shocking that people are turned down a parking space for coming to work

Staff should not have to pay for their parking permits. They should not be given expenses out of their own pay to park on the grounds where they give great care to their patients!

I'm a staff nurse, and having to do 12.5 hour shifts in between of getting busses is ridiculous.

It shouldn't take a petition for this to happen, it's common sense. Support your staff.

Staff work long hard shifts they shouldn't be expected to take the bus home after!! My bus journey would be 2 hours !!

I think it's shocking that staff aren't getting permits! We work so hard day in day out understaffed 12 hour shifts! And you expect us to walk home and make our day so much longer!

I worked at ARI for 28 years I am retired now and I think it is disgusting the way these permits are allocated every member of staff should have a permit they are all hard working and car insurance etc is expensive enough why should they be forced to pay again for very expensive bus travel

To whom it may concern. Treat your front line workers with the same respect and consideration you would hope to get yourselves.

It is disgusting you and not allowing all staff to have permits. What is even worse I am hearing Aberdeen city staff have got permits yet people from Peterhead etc haven't. Bunch of muppets running NHSG still who have no clinical experience to know what are good and bad decisions. Bout time the pen pushers were made to have clinical experience before getting their jobs!!

Staff who have had a parking permit then lose it, disgracful! Wouldn't be so bad if there was cheap on street parking.nit £4.50 per day vouchers not ever pay and display!

This is absolutely ridiculous. This will cause further staff shortages. Why should after a 12.5 hour shift should staff be expected to wait on public transport if they have a car? It's much quicker, they already pay for their cars why should they be expected to pay more? How do you expect staff in an emergency situation to become available quickly?

Please support our NHS staff and provide free parking in gratitude to their commitment to our valuable health service.

I bus it because I can't drive...... But the impact on my friends & colleagues that need a permit & are not getting one will have an added impact on everyone & everything......#addedpressuretoalltharsNEEDLESS#........

The situation is awful. I drive between sites every day to carry out clinics. How in earth can you use public transport for that carrying equipment and paperwork.
