when we take our vehicleout why cant we park our car in its place as the transport hard is empty apart from managers car

Totally agree after working at the hospital in the past. I always wondered why a multistorey car park wasnt thought of too!!

ALL Workers at ARI. Should have a space to park if they so wish. They work very unsocial hours. If you start at 6pm or finish at 10 pm. You should NOT HAVE to take the bus to work if you have a car.

I originally had a permit. It is very frustrating not being issued with another one. I have three children to take to the childminder before I go to work. Taking public transport is just not an option for me!

because overworked and underpaid staff shouldn't have to pay for parking and be forced to use unreliable public transport

I feel that there is discrimination if your kids are grown up even if you a live out if town and have to add hours onto your working day and why should you have to pay for a bus when you have a car at the door .They are not taking into account if you have appointments or having to pick up family then you need to take 2 buses there and 2 home and still expect you to be in on time providing the bus turbs up

Nurses are expected on occasion to work 12 hour shifts and should not have to rely on public transport which is often more expensive than fuel and can be as much as an hour between buses. We need our hospital staff to be alert at all times.

It's ridiculous that we work 12.5 hours and can't take our car to work, despite not being able to get public transport to work

Staff should be made priority in spaces as they have a job to do & have to come up to a hour before shift to get a space .

I knew a few people who are nurses at the hospital and my sister is a nurse there. On her rota she has to work a weeks of night shifts every 4 weeks, not safe or convenient for her to be getting buses at those times!

I live very close to 2 hospitals 1 being ARI and the other which is closer to my home Royal Cornhill and we are now finding it harder to park at our own front door because staff are now parking in residential areas which is not fair to us. Give people carpark permits to prevent this happening as we the public have a right to park outside our own doors.

I support all the nursing staff and anything that makes their life less stressful. Taking away their parking permits is totally unacceptable, therefore I am signing this petition in the hope that the decision can be reversed.

NHS staff work long hard shifts as it is. To add on extra time to that by forcing them to get buses is ridiculous.

I think only Health care workers should have permits, ie Doctors, nurses, auxiliaries. As they are the fundamental staff needed to run the hospital.

Absolutely disgusting I support those who need a permit even though I have been issued one I would not be able to work without parking facilities IT is not a luxury it's a necessary my thoughts are if no staff who will look after patients!
