I can see that having parking permit for staff who work unsciable and long hours would be of great benefit

All 12hr workers should get permits . Bus service in Aberdeen expensive and poor. Not safe for women walking to work in dark mornings.

They need to create more spaces and stop making life difficult and stressful for staff.

It is bad enough trying to juggle school, childminders before & after a shift without having to worry about getting to work. Hospital staff nurses doctors are the back bone of NHS & get very little in return already, & again another slap in the face . My service almost 40yrs & for what!!!

I think this is totally mad! How are people supposed to get to work if they can't take their car due to no spaces?

I have heard from some nurses that they are considering leaving the profession over this issue. One nurse I know would have to get up at 4am and wouldn't get home untill after 10pm not to mention the fact there is no public transport at the weekend that would get her to work on time.

An employer that does not look after or value its own staff is terrible enough - but to see that employer is a Healthcare Provider shows they need to think about their attitude towards the PEOPLE that are their patients and the people that look after the patients.

The fiasco of parking at ARI continues!!!! This has been going on for years! When are constructive measures going to be carried out to sort out both staff and public parking issues? Ridiculous to expect staff to use unreliable public transport before and after very busy shifts. Not everyone gets away from work at the time they should!!

I have worked in the NHS for 23 years and feel that its totally unacceptable to see the way employees are treated which has considerably gotten worse and will force people out of the NHS!

Im a student nurse and away to qualify at the end of the year and I have gained an insight on how hard NHS workers and are dedicated to their jobs and to the patients and feel its unacceptable as many work 12 hour shifts!

There has to be exceptions for staff genuine reasons to need access to their cars at short notice. Medical emergency seems more than reasonable exception - Thank you

Agree, early starts and late finishes usually mean no bus service.

It's ridiculous to even suggest that staff do not have parking permits!!
