This ruling to grant a licence to a foreign investor without firstly speaking to local conservation group's or locals living within this area of outstanding natural beauty is an absolute disgrace, It should never have happened without firstly seeking public consultation, This area is also a conservation area and should be treated as such & not be desecrated due to the greed of some foreign investor who cares nothing for the area in which we live & love so dear, Who used one of the locals as a Guinea Pig to help with the application process

I cannot believe that industrial scale Oyster farming is even being considered in an area of such amazing natural beauty.

It would be a total shame and disgrace if local wishes were to be ignored and this unique place of natural beauty was to be spoiled by large scale shell fish farming.

Guidelines are a joke for 'regulating' something as significant as this, so called 'interpretation' in this case sounds more like a brown envelope situation, this is a disgraceful demo of lack of respect for the environment.
