The beautiful strands are here for everyone to enjoy not for individuals to turn them into an ugly landscape for personal profit!

Níl sé ceart nó cóir go dtig comhlacht mór a theacht isteach is seo a dhéanamh dár dtráigh gan tacaíocht ar bith uaidh mhuintir ná háite. Stad an Scrios. It's not right a company can come in and destroy our beach with zero support from those who live here. How can people walk, swim or steer a boat here in what is, and should be, our shared beach and bay. Stad an Scrios.

Tourism is one of our only sustainable industries and I think that this will have a negative impact on tourism

An analysis of the environmental impact needs to be carried out before any plans are made

Seriously lads, there had to be somewhere out of sight to place something like this. The potential for infestation and pollution in this oyster farm without a proper and appropriate environmental impact study is shortsighted at best and borders on criminal neglect. This reeks of graft and kickbacks... RETHINK THIS!!!

A development of this scale needs a full Environmental Impact Analysis. These coastal regions are such a crucial part of the area; for the quality of life of the inhabitants as well as attracting visitors. Any harm to the ecosystem will have far-reaching consequences.
