Council Application Reference: A005412755   I support the redevelopment of the St Maroun’s Church in Greenslopes as proposed. The existing church premises including the 4 character homes that improve the land are in a state of disrepair and it will be a major improvement for the local neighbourhood to see these dwellings rejuvenated. The design of the church and church hall are to be commended and are likely to become a new local landmark for the Greenslopes community. The inclusion of a 51 car space on-site basement is a welcome addition for the church who at present has no on-site parking at all. Furthermore, the proposed development provides sanitary facilities for mothers and accessibility for the disabled and elderly. As a 72 year old, this will be a significant improvement to the existing facilities.
