This upgrade is important to accommodate the increasing needs of the church and to combat the issues with the existing facilities.

Council Application Reference: A005412755   I support the redevelopment of the St Maroun’s Church in Greenslopes as proposed. The existing church premises including the 4 character homes that improve the land are in a state of disrepair and it will be a major improvement for the local neighbourhood to see these dwellings rejuvenated. The design of the church and church hall are to be commended and are likely to become a new local landmark for the Greenslopes community. The inclusion of a 51 car space on-site basement is a welcome addition for the church who at present has no on-site parking at all. Furthermore the proposed development provides sanitary facilites for females mothers & accessibility for the disabled, that are currently not available. This is a significant improvement to the existing situation.

We need this for our growing families, where we can use for weddings, funerals etc. We are families of faith and love.

I strongly support the redevelopment of St Marouns Brisbane. The current facilities can no longer support the pastoral and spiritual requirements of the parish. The redevelopment will enable us to attend the premises safely.
