The shut down of schools is a complete over reaction to the covid situation. We taxpayers and our children deserve better Treatment from the officials teachers and staff we pay to teach our kids. A zoom meeting is not teaching our children. If this is all you are willing to do then every one of you have failed as educators and need to find a new career.

My son is 7- second grader the classroom is vital to his education. Teachers are Essential! I’m also a 24/7 single mom. I have to work. And can’t afford $1000 a month to send him to adventure club. I don’t understand why that’s an option.

If A mandatory mask rule in place, parents have options to still do virtual, teacher safety, Yes teacher's have died already,
Only if strict cleaning is done daily, and students can actually stay apart enough to be not breathing on eachother,
a plan for how to eat lunch separated because masks will be off.
