My daughter is struggling. How can I help her if I’m working 40hrs a week? How can my husband help her if he’s working 40hrs a week? The answer: SCHOOL. Teachers are paid to teach. If they don’t want to teach or are scared to teach, find another profession. How do you think nurses and doctors feel during this crazy time? I don’t see them protesting or refusing to do there jobs. They know and understand the risks.

As I watch my children sit isolated every day for 7 hours in front of their computer I fear that our community leaders have lost sight of the whole person that their decisions are affecting. Please please please let my kids go back to school. Let them play sports. It is my job as a parent to keep them safe and not yours as a lawmaker to remove them from society.

St. Louis student-athletes will be at a significant disadvantage when recruiting for college. Our juniors and seniors need a fair opportunity.

You should be ashamed of your choices ! You are taking away the students rights to have a safe academic & athletic education it’s a disgrace ! How can you live with yourself taking away students dreams , memories , education athletics & team work . Students are suffering emotionally & financially . Do you care about students well being ? If masks work why are there restrictions ? You can’t have it both ways ! You are hurting students chances of getting into colleges to play sports , your hurting schools bc students will leave & go other places along with colleges , your hurting school & student reputations & schools will close bc lack of students which will decrease jobs & allow more crime ; gangs & killings in St. Louis. I know your son isn’t running track but does he want to run track in college ? I bet the answers is no ! If it’s yes you would allow sports ! You are making wrong decisions & this is your chance to turn it around & make it right & fix your reputation . My daughter played select sports traveled & played against teams from ny ; nj, ca , ok, tx ect & nobody got Covid . You are a doctor & should be able to look at the medical facts ; Covid cases are going down & they aren’t killing people like we thought , 6% died of Covid & other issues which is low. We’re not stupid & see what your doing . At the end you’ll have to answer to God & live with your decisions so make the right ones . I can’t controls your children’s welfare , health mentally & physically stability , why should you controls mine . It’s unethical can you live with yourself & have a clear conscience, are you doing the best for your city & people... NO ? I don’t see how you can sleep at night putting students emotionally at harm ; not doing what’s best for your people & city ; we’re your oath ? Putting jobs & schools at risk of closing allowing more crime is sinful ! If you are a man of integrity here is your chance to safe yourself : your reputation:jobs , schools & students well

My son on his first week of virtual school he had "zero" classes as he missed all do to technical difficulties. He needs a real education, in school classes!

The kids need their sports to stay healthy physically and mentally! They are the lowest risk group of being sick and spreading anything! Let them have their lives and those who are higher risk be careful and stay away!

Please add Dr. Lane of Brentwood. We petitioned for just our Elementary school to open and our leaders didn’t even have the courtesy to respond to us. https://www.change.org/p/brentwood-school-board-open-brentwood-elementary-schools?source_location=topic_page

We need our kids back in their classroom safely and cautiously, they need to learn one on one facing white boards being with other humans like them. Virtual learning is not enough for their growth and development.
