let them at least have their sports/band. We have been playing baseball/softball all summer with no issues, with safety measures in place.

I firmly believe with proper social distancing children will be safe returning to school. It’s Imperative for their development that they are allowed to interact with their peers and get 1 on 1 help from teachers IN PERSON!!!

Virtual school for hours on in is very difficult! This is hard for everyone involved. My child has cried he wants to go back to school. I as a mom have lost sleep and cried. A family member is a teacher and she is a wreck with headaches, crying and sleepless nights. Teaching and learning this way is not normal. Virtual learning should only be for those who prefer it and even then it's not constantly everyday for hours and hours. All this screen time is far to much and these kids and teachers will burn out and lose focus.

This is cruelty to children. You know it and general public know it. This covid has shown no compassion from public schools, and the community it’s serves. Once this is over , school choice debate will be ignited and propelled. I have lost trust in our public schools.

The parents and our children should be allowed to choose if they want to go to school or not!

For those that want to be in school I feel there are safe ways to make it work. I don't feel like the all or nothing approach is the way to go. Most teachers I speak to want to be in school also, makes me wonder who the teachers union is really representing. Teaching is essential!!!!!

Kids can’t help but fall behind of where they would have been with a teacher actually present. From a former teacher. Especially those kids k-5.

We simply need to look at the data. Pneumonia has had more of an impact than COVID. The CDC website supports kids being in the classroom. They need the social and educational skills that are so crucial.

Our kids need to be back in school. We are not giving kids the extra services (minutes) that they deserve due to virtual logistics. This is not ok. Our kids deserve better and we can find a way to be in school and ensure safety measures are in place to keep everyone healthy.

The physical and mental health of our kids is diminished and getting worse! They need to be in person at school and all activities.
