Concerned with over-crowding of the already crowded school as well as the traffic issues that this will cause.

Totally agree with : "We do not want to become a new Tyson's with more high rise buildings--it's bad enough to have the huge, high density units on Reston Parkway between Baron Cameron and 267. "

When I moved to Reston, a little over 10 years ago, I did so because it was like living back home for my kids and I and like living in the city for my husband. Now it has forgotten about the beauty It was supposed to have for those whom choice to live there, It will be a great place to live for those whom like the city life because that is just what it is becoming another New York, What happen to the dream Mr. Simon had? It was suppose to be a tranquil place to live a way to enjoy nature and all it beauty as well as a small peace of city life. Mr. Simon loved all whom lives / lived in Reston because they shared the same love as he did as well as had the kind heart like him but now Reston is nothing about that its all about MONEY! :( If we could only turn back time!

There is currently too much development in Reston and traffic is a problem. Residential neighborhood should not mirror the look of the Reston Towncenter. Our small north point village center is already crowded and parking is a problem. Reston, VA is a special tax district that has promoted small neighborhoods. Large developers should not be permitted to change the character of our Reston neighborhoods.

An increase in housing like this needs to be accompanied with a plan to increase capacity at the local schools without adding trailers.

Once again, the FFX CTY supervisor's office has shown just how in bed they are with the Reston Developer's and continue to ignore the community and the principles the community was founded on for greed and profit. What are you getting out of it this time Hudgens...more campaign contributions. Stop selling out...listen to the PEOPLE. There's so much traffic in Reston now you can barely move...it's absolutely disgraceful what you all continue to do in the name of progress. You should be ashamed of yourself...bunch of profiteering pols.

I also have concern for our school system which could become greatly overcrowded due to this restructure. Traffic is already a mess on Center Harbor during that time of day and adding more traffic to this already increasingly high traffic area does not seem like a smart idea.

Developers and Reston Assoc. Both need to listen to the concerns of residents. Developers have been the driving force within Reston for decades and their interests have superseded that of residents! Let's NOT destroy the community by overbuilding and under planning!!!

What is the Reston DRB's and Fairfax Board of Supervisor's motive in this? It's definitely not interested in what the residents want. The development isn't necessary, nor is it wanted. Changes as large as this should be put to a vote by Reston residents, not left to Boards who do not have residents' interests at heart. It would be nice if the Boards cared about the wishes of the people paying taxes and paying their salaries.

This project is totally out of character for the neighborhood, and will create traffic nightmares. Please take this project elsewhere
This is not in keeping with Bob Simon's original vision of what Reston would be.

neither North Center Harbor, Reston Parkway, or Buzz Aldrin School is in a position to adequately handle and process the number of people, cars, students, etc. such a project will encompass. The result if this project goes through will be utter chaos.

We are neighbors, and we do not want increased density and traffic. We are also alarmed at how approval has progressed, while objections have been ignored. There is a documented pattern of abuse that will be presented to the press, to expose corruption among elected officials and irrelevant public servants.

Poorly designed concept. Egress from St. John's onto Center Harbor Road directly across from Hampton Pointe entrance is dangerous. It's already difficult getting out of Hampton Pointe due to a blind curve. Is someone waiting until there's a serious car accident to decide this new suggested design wasn't smart? Stupid plan, poorly conceived, and reflecting a lack of worry about the safety of residents. I'm angry at Reston board and zoning commission for their lack of concern for the people that live in this neighborhood that has allowed this issue to get as far as it has. Change the plan to have the St. John's egress onto Reston Parkway. How about keeping us and our kids safe!

Architecture - Not in context with North Reston. More similar to what is being built at Wiehle Metro. Will set a negative precedence for future development.
Traffic- Has anyone taken traffic counts on Wiehle between Baron Cameron and Route 267? The fire station is already compromised. Has anyone looked at the increased number of accidents and crime in that corridor. This development will add several trips at peak hours.
I am concerned about aesthetics and the safety of Reston residents.

I am against this redevelopment as the proposed design and density is out of line with the look and feel of our neighborhood. Will negatively impact traffic and our property values

I am against the current plan because I believe it will have an adverse effect on safety for pedestrians and vehicles in the area!
