Against anything that causes more chaos and traffic, not to mention looking at high rises from our beautiful secluded neighborhood

Having moved to Reston 7 years ago, the idea of seeing high rises from my property is not at all appealing. An entrance/exit onto Center Harbor is unacceptable. Traffic patterns will be a nightmare! Do reconsider design, traffic and do remember Robert Simon's plan for Reston!

This development should not go forward

Another example of RA failing to adequately canvas and compile resident feedback!

Without a significant investment in local roads and other infrastructure, this project will turn this are into yet another Reston parking lot. Traffic along the long roads is already excessive and doubling the number of units in this development without any infrastructure improvements will cause the same gridlock that plagues so many other parts of Reston. This is not what Robert Simon envisioned for Reston.

A a Northpoint resident for over 30 years, I am opposed to this increased housing density in the area. My concerns regarding this development are many.

Why does this area need to be redeveloped? What is wrong with the present complex? Why, why, why! My father was a developer for many years, so I am very aware of developers wanting to build build build for more monetary gain! I am a 41 year resident of Reston and am appalled at all the recent high density construction taking place! Shame on all who support this!

As a Reston resident of thirty years, this violates every precept and covenant with the Reston community. This must be stopped.

As someone who lives in St. Johns Wood, I am not interested in this redevelopment as this would mean my husband and I would be displaced and we have not heard what St. Johns Wood is providing to us to help us with this issue. This is a great community and I feel it fits Reston. Please do not tear this down just so that you (Buzzoto) can put more money in your pocket. You charge enough as it is and you are building apartments over at the metro station. Won't you get enough money from those people so that you can leave us alone! Let the little people live in a nice community too!

I live directly across the street from St. John's Wood. My concerns are many: Bozzoto is building double the current capacity which will be ALL rental properties, traffic, schools, infrastructure support, the proposed construction is for rental properties, size of buildings (currently 5 stories is planned maximum height). Most importantly, the size and style is urban and similar to Reston Town Center. It does not reflect the style of the community surrounding it. AND, Bozzoto owns a large complex of apartments down the street on Center Harbor, which they may choose to raze in the future and build denser, taller buildings. We cannot allow this construction to take place as it will set a precedent for future urban designs. We cannot allow the construction to lower our property values. We need to protect our Reston Community in the face of the Developer's greed to make as much money as they can.

I am really concerned, and would like to request the DRB to reassess this project.

Yes, please add my husband, David S Stein and myself, Denise Michel, to this petition. Definitely we agree there needs to be careful attention to limiting the amount of dwellings permitted given the infrastructure available to support it. Right now the volume of new dwellings and traffic is already getting worse with the new buildings added on Reston Parkway. When the other new ones under development at the Wiehle metro location and on Sunrise Valley are occupied these dwellings will not only impact traffic here but also impact Metro and other values. Also all of this development doesn't seem to following the model envisioned for Reston community as a planned and integrated community.

This redevelopment threatens to change the entire nature of our community from a quiet safe environment to a noisy, congested area. Not to mention the impact on traffic near the existing elementary school and park land. And why are the planned entrances on Center Harbor and North Village versus on Reston Parkway?? This redevelopment is simply bad for the existing community and Reston overall. Another example of how real estate developers control the planning and zoning process in our area, not the citizens who live here.

We must be advocates for simplicity! I don't mind renovations or even a new complex. What I don't want is a goliath "Mosaic District" building in our sweet garden-home community. And just a block down the street is another development that will surely be on the books soon to develop in the same way as it's the same developer. If we allow this structure to be built, we are absolutely destroying the safety, beauty, and integrity of a community many MANY people have spent their lives defending. PLEASE do not allow this huge structure to be built. It sets a precedence for what's to come and we must be vigilant, as a community, and as a body of elected leaders, to protect the integrity of one of the coolest places to live in all of Virginia.

This redevelopment is too large for our neighborhood. That kind of density should be near the Town Center, not here near North Point Shopping Center.

I am not happy with the proposed plan and have concerns over the additional volume of traffic on Center Harbor and North Village Rd.
