I strongly oppose the proposed development project at the current St. John's Wood development owned by Buzzotto. The design, increased density, and current plans will cause a significant negative impact on our North Point Community.

I have 2 questions for the deciding officials -- 1. Have they considered the impact on neighboring property values, crime rates and impact on the Reston natural and parks & rec resources, if the density of this development is doubled? 2. Why is this level of density being considered if the proposal is in "disregard to the Reston Master Plan"? -- this point needs more clarity.

We live just off of Bennington Woods. This proposed complex is SO far away from the concept that we bought into when we moved to Reston 24 years ago that I cannot believe it is being taken seriously. I cannot believe the DRB approved this, given the months we spent with them getting approvals for a change in outdoor lighting style for our old cluster. I am diametrically opposed to this plan.

I will not vote for whomever approves the redevelopment. RTC is already dense enough. The roads will be overloaded if this goes through. Vote NO!

Where is all the parking to be? I guess the approval is with the hope no one will have a car that lives there.

The infrastructure cannot handle this density. The roads are already beyond capacity.

Trees and open space are what make quality of life valuable in areston. This development destroys all the value Resto has. I dreamed of owning a tow home and retiring inReston but corporate greed will destroy that dream.

Am absolutely against this. Reston is being over-developed --- and it's being allowed to happen.

Totally against this redevelopment plan.

No! Our roads cannot handle anymore units. Traffic is bad enough as it is and this will only make things even worse.

Reject SJW project, I am so proud of our group "Reclaim Reston", one great team but we can use all the help from our neighbors at the North Pointe location of Reston.

I just received a letter from a law firm representing the Bozzuto Development Company regarding the St. John's Woods redevelopment. The letter appears purposely vague, presenting the need to inform North Point residents as a clerical matter and noting only that the development in question will be consistent with the redevelopment option in the Fairfax County Comprehensive Plan. The letter prompted me to look into the development and discover this group. What I've discovered confirmed my supsicions. It would seem the letter from Cooley says nothing about the Reston Deed precisely because this development would violate the concept. I am happy to sign this petition and I hope our elected Fairfax County officials are paying attention. I'll certainly be paying attention to their decisions when I cast my future votes.

This plan is in complete violation of the spirit and law of the Reston Community. It should never be allowed to happen. Understand this - if this is permitted, a precedent will have been set for high-rise development in Reston. All the "undeveloped" land between the RTC and Saint Johns Wood will then subsequently be designated as land that can be developed. DO NOT believe Bozzutto when they say that will never happen - IT WILL!

I am opposing the St Johns Wood Redevelopment as the neighborhood schools and other resources can not support this type of rapid expansion.
