Clearly the County's goal is to turn Reston into another Ballston or Tyson;s Corner. While I know the County has never seen a bribe or tax they didn't love, this is unacceptable, and the people will no longer stand for the business as usual corruption from County government.

I am against the redevelopment plan of St. John's woods. To big and too much additional traffic.

We don't need this! It would significantly change the character of the neighborhood while creating traffic and overpopulation issues.

This is a complete 180 on the vision for Reston, and the entire reason we moved out here.

I hope I didn't already sign this but sending "just in case". Keep up the good work!

This development will add far too much additional traffic to an already congested neighborhood.

Please do not let this project move forward! Our community will be negatively impacted! Traffic will become worse. Our community will not look the same, with the trees destroyed and yet another high-rise building. The schools are already overcrowded and will become even worse. We need to take care of those children first, without burdening the system more.

We live on Great Owl Circle in Ridgewood Cluster down the hill on other side of Reston Parkway. This would change the entire ambience of this area. Very concerned by Cathy Hudgins comment that this area is under developed. With this on top of all the development down by RTC and Metro I fear Reston will be turned into another Tysons.

This is a terrible, horrible thing to do for the community, and my family and I think it should be stopped immediately. Reston is not supposed to be urban.

The project will destroy this part of Reston. It will be an ugly addition to a peaceful part of the town. Everything doesn't need to be like the Reston Town Center with high density housing. Don't let these developers change this area just to make a buck. I guarantee they won't be living there or anywhere near there.

I am 110% against this new development. This will ruin the entire feel of what Reston was set out to be. No way

As a 25-year homeowner in the neighborhood, I strongly oppose this proposed development

We don't want to demolish and redevelopment current St-Johns Woods. It will be too crowded.

Enough new developments in Reston already. Realize how the new association fees are filling the coffers but the original idea behind Reston was to not have an overpopulated area where open green space would dominate.

I am opposed to making North Reston a high-density living area. I moved to Reston for the quiet calm of the trees, not a lot of high-rise buildings.

This petition thoroughly addresses so many issues that I, as a Reston property owner, have with the proposed redevelopment of St. Johns Woods. I cannot believe this proposed redevelopment is good for the Reston Community.

This is land use planning at its worse. This area was not intended for such high density development and will create traffic nightmares. A vote by the Board to support this is a vote to destroy the very lifestyle Reston was designed to provide. Redevelopment does not mean doubling the size of a development. It means thoughtful and careful redesign with the highest regard for the existing infrastructure. This design is incredibly lacking in the current proposal.

Too many units for the area!
