This is a tradition for the ones that grew up on this island. It's a part of the community. It's 30mins. EVERYONE is made well aware days ahead of time. Don't change something that means alot to the natives of the island.

Why is this even an issue? This tradition has been going on since I was a child yet people who aren't from here want to change what's been an island tradition? Find an alternative route for whom? The parade? Really? Just as easy as it is to find "alternative routes" for the parade, those trying to find a way on and off the island can too. Those that want to end the parade need to kick rocks, this is ISLANDER COUNTRY!

This is an island tradition that should continue. It’s an island thing. If you aren’t from here you wouldn’t understand!! There are many other issues they should be focusing on than a 15 minute parade
