Usable this turntable will enable railway tourism to Plymouth and well beyond through Cornwall. Such tourism has been specially provided for in the recent award to a Train Operating Company for Scotland and voluntary input could well help as at Yeovil.

this area relies on income from incomers. This should be kept - not only as a means of providing income to the area, but also as a key component of Cornish railway heritage.

Again, wanting to get rid of this turntable is another example of this country being too ready to destroy its history so lets protect at least this part of it!

It would be tragic for Cornwall and the wider South West to lose this classic railway heritage. It needs to be saved for future generations.
