As a resident of mid Cornwall it saddens me to see such a big company to allow an important part of our heritage to fall in to dis repair, network rail and db shenker should ensure this important piece of equipment is repaired and made good for use, the whole goods yard is untidy and over grown

After seeing such a crowd of people on Friday night at Par station waiting to catch a glimpse of our the steams trains on there journey to Penzance it shows that steam is still a wonderful attraction. We need this facility, and it must be kept alive to teach our young children our heritage

This essential part of Cornwall's railway infrastructure must be preserved. I lived in a house overlooking the Lostwithiel to Fowey branch line, when it was closed to passenger trains in about 1964. The line would be very popular with tourists today.

Please support the petition, it is beneficilal to steam to Cornwall, the Bodmin and Wenford Railway, and tourism in Cornwall in general.
