We can't allow this valuable piece of kit to be lost as it will spell the end of steam specials coming west of Plymouth. This turntable is part of our railway herritage and MUST be saved.

Incoming steam charters provide a source of much needed income to Cornwall so it is vital that evreything should be done to ensure they continue. The turntable at St Blazey should play a crucial role in this respect.

If this turntable is not brought back into service then Heritage Mainline Steam will no longer be able to come to Cornwall. This will result in a corresponding drop in revenue to local shops and attractions that the passengers use. It MUST be kept operational

More important railway heritage with an important tourist connection. Too important to be lost.

It would be tragic if this facility was lost; not just for it's intrinsic heritage value but also because of its negative impact on tourism and the economy of the region.

Steam needs a chance in Cornwall.

Turntables are essential across the county not just for mainline steam but could also be used by other operators.

I agree with John Thorpe. Get a Facebook group going and if money is required to save it a Just Giving page. Any item or heritage is worth saving, especially the rare turntables.

Any item of railway used in the preservation of steam deserves to be saved
