Keep the turntable turning it will not only keep our history , it will also attract visitor, which will help with funds. Trains will be able to turn which will also make our economy turn.

have just signed the petition wont go on as you are all well aware of the problem however as I understand its a listed item, maybe the person who is running the appeal could ask the lottery heritage fund to help? shame DB/Network Rail into helping?

The retention of the St Blazey turntable is vital to the continuation of mainline steam tours to Cornwall. They bring a much needed boost to the local economy. We have the finest steam heritage in the world,Don't lose it.

The makers of Dimplex, Belling, Valor, Morphy Richards,Roberts Radio, etc. signed up DB Schenker to move their products acroos the globe because of DB Schenker's "Focus, Integrity and Flexibility". Needless to say the contract began on 1st April 2014. 'Nough said.

The turntable is not only important to the local economy, and to ensuring the future of steam specials in Cornwall, but it is a very important piece of railway heritage. I hope DBS enter into meaningful discussion with concerned parties and I hope NR take an active role too!

Please maintain this vital asset and bring it back to use.It seems to me that a good working party of volunteers could sort the problem out in a weekend , with the right advice from local rail workers who previously worked at the depot.
