Our kids deserve to play in a safe field. Those are genuine needs if the town has any intention of keeping its athletes. Otherwise, players will find further but better places, the town loses the opportunity to invest in those who are investing in the town.

These fields are an embarrassment to Sayreville. I don't live in Sayreville but I watch my grandchildren play. I also watch them fall from the dips in the fields. They need to be fixed.

I see this as a huge township problem. I see many fields are not cared for and run down. Though the football fields look great. It's time for the council and rec dept to step up. If not, then hey all need to be replaced. The rec dept has become such a ridiculous dept.
