Very well written. Do you have any data, stories, anything for people to research events that led to this? It's impossible for former students to join such a decision taking it at face value like this. What have faculty said that's hurtful? What would diversity do for the campus specifically and it's ability to change the city? What are other schools, religious or otherwise, doing with diversity programs that we are modeling after? Why this, and not just change the mission statement?
