Thank you for developing this impactful unity-plan that is focused on re-constructing the overall diversity practices at SPU. I truly believe in the idea that, 'When the individual does not struggle or strive for his/her passions and then also for cultural, racial, and social liberation ... it seems that she/he has missed out on their full potential to deeply-change lives. Getting out of passive "silence" and contributing to true systemic "emancipation" is highly-valuable to implement more justice equality.

As an SPU alumna (class of 2015), I couldn't be more proud to see how current students are fighting for much-needed social change at SPU. Keep it up!!

Spu once kicked me outta the dorms and made me homeless based off of conjecture. I did nothing wrong and they still treated me like a criminal. Even when I made it back, faculty and staff treated me different.

I too strongly support the spirit of this petition. There are details that I can't wholly support now without knowing more. But this should be a basis for decisive action and urgent conversation.

It's time SPU reflects that it supports, and wants, its POC students aside from just to add numbers in diversity. This petition is everything. Let's go! -class of 2015

Thank you for wanting students at SPU to take courses on such important topics - this was a particular piece of the petition I was thankful for.
This is needed!
