I already get home at 7 pm and I know it will intensely effect the extra curricular activites which tons of kids participate in including me and it will make me get home even later. If everything is pushed back it will ruin family dinners, sleep schedules and getting home at a somewhat reasonable hour.

We all have extra circulars and these new times impacts our sleep bc we are getting home so late and have to do homework until the early hours of the morning. Anyone that wants to sleep, eat healthy, or hold a job is unable to bc of the late times.

Students involved in extracurricular activities such as sports will find themselves stretched too thin on school nights without sufficient time to stay on top of school work and to engage in vital practices of self-care.

Changing the school times to later is absolutely pointless. Students would be left with no social life, would not be able to work after school, there would be far less time for sports and extra curricular activities, and the homework load that we get would leave us with less sleep then we are getting right now! Go back to the 7:50-2:20 times! Adding 20 minutes to the entire school day, why?! Adding 5 minutes in to each class will not do ANYTHING and is taking valuable time away from commutes, homework and sports. I don't understand stand why the school board feels the need to always uproot our lives by changing the schedule every year, they think their helping us but they don't even listen to the opinions of students who's lives they are affecting!

This directly and adversely changes the ability for students that have/need jobs or participate in after school activities..... it takes away from having a good balance. They will just have to stay up later to complete home work ....

I believe ending anywhere past 3:30 would be very harmful for extra curriculars. I would hate to have to change school districts.
